Are you up for a challenge?  It’s said that you develop a habit practicing it for 30 days or so.  Using this train of thought, let’s challenge each other…for Christ.  Listed below is your 30 day challenge.  The challenge changes weekly.

Week 1 – The Reading Challenge: Read your bible at least 3 times for at least 5 minutes.  Obviously, I hope you read it more.  Write out 2 questions and ask your pastor to for clarification.  (Shhh…Here’s a secret between us: Pastors want you to know as much about the bible as you can.  So start/keep asking.) If you dare…read with your spouse or loved ones.  More the merrier.  If she/he knows a little more about the bible than you do…that’s fine.  This is not a competition.  We must be able to discuss the bible amongst ourselves.  Think “iron sharpens iron.”  (Hmm, where is that said in the bible?  You get extra points for this answer!)  Throughout these challenges, take notice of what’s happening in the world.  Are any of these things mentioned in the bible?

Let me know how you’re doing weekly.  I  hope you draw closer to God throughout this process. I also hope you see a discernible change in your thoughts process and actions. Lastly, I hope your worldview becomes more Christ-like.  We can do this!
