Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on our blessings. We all have our own family traditions. One of our family traditions is to gather in a circle and pray for the meal. Each member will state what he or she was thankful for. I must admit I’m more partial to hearing what our younger members would say. I still chuckle on some things our daughters would say.
What are you thankful for this year? This is a great opportunity to share Christ in conversation. It’s a great way to show everyone Who you believe in and why. You never know…they might want to know a little more about Him also.
Don’t eat too much Turkey today but not worry about over indulging in the Scripture. It ]won’t make you unhealthy; rather it’ll strengthen you. Loosen your belt and “chew” on the word but don’t forget to share!
Ps 107:1 Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
