No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Jos 1:5-8

God provided Joshua with an iron-clad promise.  God will not fail him or abandon him.  Joshua is to be strong and courageous.   In fact, God tells this in both verses 6 and 7.  Joshua will be successful if he (1) obeyed and do the things Moses’ instructed,  (2) continually study the Scripture, (3) meditate on it and (4) obey everything written in the Scrolls.  We are now under grace and free from the Law.  However, the list God gave us is still applicable.  We will be very successful if we followed these instructions.

What is the assignment God has placed on you? What is your mission in life?  Is there something you should be doing but are afraid to do?

I encourage you to seek God’s advice.  Listen before you act.  Consult with a brother or sister in Christ or your minister.  Just make sure you hear from God before you move on.  After all, you want to be in His will not man’s.  Remember, Be Strong Be Courageous!
